The newest tamasha IPL has arrived with a big bang and created a flutter among cricket lovers. Hope it sustains all the hype it has created. You can find everyone from Top executives to your watchmen talking about it. Now people will don’t have to watch SaaS bahu dramas, instead all the Rona-dhona will be done on the cricket field.
Being in Mumbai I thought of supporting Mumbai Indians but then I still can’t associate with them or for the matter of fact with any of the teams. Chennai superstars is an excellent team and so is Kolkatta Knight Riders but I feel Rajasthan Royals are the Underdogs of the tournament and I feel they will catch up with the rest.
I have decided not to support any of them. Also I have decided to cheer for the cricket and not for any team in particular. It will take at least couple of years for these teams to make a strong fan base where fans will travel across cities to watch the Away matches of the teams they support.
Till then, I find Football tournaments like EPL & Champions League, etc more interesting and entertaining and will always be a die-hard Chelsea fan !!

I wasn't following all matches, but from the ones I saw and also looking at teams I would support Rajasthan. They have very few biggies compared to other teams, but the effort from them is amazing.
well i will not comment on d cricket part since i consider it more of a "tamasha" than proper cricket...i still belong to d orthodox club who njoys a good absorbing day of test match over this 3 hour slam bang t20....
well d concept of local team n tryin n get locals to support their city team is good...where i felt it faltered was u hardly find locals in the team...u hav bhajji playin for mumbai n not for mohali, u hav uthappa playin for mumbai n not for b'lore, jaffer playin for b'lore n mumbai....i dont know how its happens in EPL n if its a city based league...BCCI shud hav put some cap on local players in a team n then opted for other players...anyways for now its here to stay n jus Njoy d Tamasha to d max...

I was sceptical abt the whole tamasha. But it is turning out to be more entertaining than I thought. Though I'm a purist and love test cricket as well, I can see IPL as the future of cricket.
As far as teams are concerend, top of the league Royals have geled-well. Delhi are a good unit too. but like you, still not a 'fan' of any particular side.. except that I've striked out Kolkata ! :)
